nice going!!! sorry i didn't vote for this one although you didn't need mine anyway. i think i held off because i've seen this photographed many times and it always looks great. what i just noticed now is the pigeons on top. you did capture this at a good time of day for the lighting. again... congratulations!!! el

Just to explain what you see: This is a sculpture called „Cloud Gate“ (or „The Bean“) by the British artist Anish Kapoor. It forms part of Chicago's „Millenium Park“. Luckily, I have been there for a conference just during the days of the challenge, and I had my F200 with me (the minimal equipment). My upload to the main category („summer in the city“) was taken just a few steps from this place.
